Write Risky

The book that dares you to write for impact in the AI age

I want you to risk-adjust your writing

In 2008, I started taking notes on ways to achieve impact through writing. Tricks I learnt from journalists, yes, but also lessons from Russian disinformation manuals, lessons from evil baby food advertising, and from other places where people don’t typically get their writing advice.

It didn’t come together until the rise of language-helper AI when, suddenly, everyone started to sound exactly the same.

Now it is Write Risky: How to write for impact in the AI age – if you dare, currently in alpha form.

It proposes a risk-adjust model for writing, then shows you how to do it.

Getting it published is the next bit, and that requires some pre-promotion, which is where this site comes in.

If you are an agent or publisher, do let’s talk please.

If you just want some cheap (in terms of risk and result) tricks for how to not sound like an AI, how to make people take notice of what you write, check me out on LinkedIn. I’m publishing excerpts there, because that’s where the business people are, and they are the ones I want to help write better emails.

Otherwise, see you on the shelves, hopefully.
